Gardening talk

Congleton and District Horticultural Society’s next open meeting will take place on Wednesday, 27th November at 7.30pm in the meeting room at Congleton Library.
Retired schoolteacher Don Witton presented an illustrated talk entitled Once Seen Never Forgotten. He describes this talk as an eclectic mix of unforgettable garden and plant images caught on camera during his travels around the country and across the world.
Mr Witton has been a gardener for over 40 years and now runs a small nursery. He is also a lecturer and author and holds a Plant Heritage national collection of hardy euphorbias, which has twice featured on BBC2’s Gardener’s World. Plants will be available to purchase.
