Annual dinner

Audley Male Voice Choir held its annual dinner at the Manor House Hotel Alsager on Saturday, attended by 65 members and guests.
In proposing the toast to the choir, chairman Ken Williamson paid tribute to the leaders, musical director Sue Halam, her assistant Samuel Winter and accompanist Ian Riddle as well as the members who regularly attend rehearsals and concerts. He also highlighted two major events during the past year, the visit to the Royal Albert Hall, London, to sing in the London Welsh Festival for Male Voice Choirs and the Heroes Remembered Armistice concert held at the Victoria Hall, Hanley, where the choir shared the stage with the University Hospital Ladies Choir and Audley Brass Band for a most memorable concert.
