Bartlett at NCO

BBC Young Musician winner Martin James Bartlett joins the Northern Chamber Orchestra in Macclesfield on Saturday, 15th February (7.30pm).
Bartlett, who previously appeared with the NCO in 2016, returns to play Mozart’s 9th piano concerto, subtitled Jeunehomme, which pianist Alfred Brendel called “one of the greatest wonders of the world”. The programme also includes Rossini’s String Sonata No4, Sibelius’ light-hearted Suite ChampĂȘtre, and another work by Mozart, his Symphony No33.
The performance takes place at The Heritage Centre in Macclesfield as part of a season that also includes concerts featuring guest soloists Benjamin Powell (piano) and Anthony Marwood (violin).
