JB Priestley classic
Staffordshire drama group, Stoke Repertory Players, will be performing JB Priestley’s acclaimed period comedy When We Are Married at Stoke Rep Theatre next month.
Following on from the success of their first production of the 2019/20 season, Stoke Rep Players are gearing up for the Edwardian farce, written by one of England’s finest 20th century playwrights.
Set in 1908, When We Are Married is a witty examination of the Edwardian middle classes. A group of three couples, old friends and all married on the same day in the same chapel, gather at the Helliwells’ home to celebrate their silver anniversaries.
