Minibeast missions

There is a minibeast mission at Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve on Wednesday, courtesy of Cheshire East Council rangers.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to join Nature Stuff to track down the “most wanted” minibeasts.
Use minibeast mugshots and a variety of tracking techniques to complete an assignment. Booking and payment in advance is essential; the cost is £6.50 per child.
The event runs from 1pm to 3pm at Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve Visitor Centre, Davenport Lane, Brereton (CW12 4SU).

Stream safari
For wildlife adventurers who want more fun, on Thursday, 9th August there is a stream safari at Tegg’s Nose Country Park.
Bug hunters can search for weird and wonderful creatures lurking in the stream. Wear wellies and prepare to have fun. It costs £6.50 per child.
