Funeral of Mr R Tinsley

 The funeral took place on Thursday, 16th April, of Mr Raymond Tinsley, aged 70, who died at his home in Biddulph, on 26th March. He was

the husband of Mrs Veronica Maude Tinsley. The Rev Dr Philip Lockett conducted the service at Biddulph Methodist Church where Mr David Copeland was the organist for the hymns How Great Thou Art, The Lord’s My Shepherd and All Things Bright And Beautiful. Nana Mouskouri’s Only Love was played on entering and The Last Rose of Summer was played on leaving. Cremation followed at Carmountside Crematorium. Mourners were: Mrs V Tinsley (widow), Mr and Mrs D and C Minshull (niece), Mr G Tinsley (nephew), Miss M Millward (great niece), Mr K Parsons, Master T
Parsons (great great nephew). Mourners who met at the church were: Mr and Mrs J Tinsley (brother and sister-in-law), Mr and Mrs D and J Copeland (sister and brother-in-law), Mr B Tinsley (brother), Mrs B Perry (sister); Mr K Gidman, Mr M Lythgoe, Mrs S Copeland, Mrs D Sumnall and Mrs D Brooks (nieces and nephews); Mrs I Palmer, Mrs R Walker (rep
Miss L Walker), Mr and Mrs J and H Chell, Mrs N Bloor, Mrs D Hewitt (rep Biddulph Guides), Mrs K Atkinson,
