Mrs F Guest
The funeral took place on 21st January of Mrs Florence Guest, of Handforth, who died at Stepping Hill Hospital on 28th December, aged 91.
Mrs Guest enjoyed classical music and was a great football fan, especially Manchester City who she supported. She also liked doing Daily Mail crosswords and reading her horoscopes. She loved her cats, Tigger and Ginty, who kept her company. She liked to travel with Finglands on day trips and going on holiday with her best friend.
The Rev Murray George conducted the service and cremation at Macclesfield Crematorium where In the Arms of an Angel was played entering the crematorium. The hymns Morning has Broken and The Lord’s My Shepherd were sung and Time To Say Goodbye by Katherine Jenkins was played on exit.
Mourners were: Mr F and Mrs H Guest (son and daughter-in-law), Ms H Brown and Mr K Simpson (daughter and partner), Mr J Guest and Miss H Doyle (grandson and partner).
Grandchildren: Miss E Guest, Mr A and Mrs T Brown and Mr W Brown (rep Matthew, Katie and Zoe, great-grandson, partner and great-granddaughter).
Miss L Brown and Miss A Brown (great-granddaughters), Mr N and Mrs P Wardle, Mr W Wardle.
