A merry new year from town’s Santa!

Dear Sir, — So here it is, merry new year from Congleton Santa! Festive legend Noddy Holder teamed up with Congleton Santa sponsor Dress Cheshire to draw the winners for our text giving competition.
So congratulations again to Charlotte Bennett (who won four unlimited wristbands to Winter Wonderland Stoke) and Michelle Wiltshaw (who won four Alton Towers tickets).
Thank you to the Beaverbrooks Charitable Trust for its generous support of Congleton Santa.
Now that Congleton Santa’s done delivering presents, it’s time to pass on the many, merry thanks. Thank you to everyone who turned out to see Santa on his route and to everyone who donated via our website, text giving, the text giving competition, or in person. All money raised will be going right back into helping the people of Congleton, as all of Claus’s Causes are local charities which this year included The Christie at Macclesfield appeal, Titans Explorer Scouts, Buglawton Scouts, Visyon, Congleton Foodbank and Friends for Leisure, to name a few.
Thank you as well to all the elves who helped to collect, and of course, thank you to everyone who made our nice list this Christmas.
Congleton Santa’s Nice List: Beaverbrooks the Jewellers; Congleton four Congleton; Dress Cheshire; Donr Text giving; Winter Wonderland Stoke; Alton Towers; Emblazed Ltd Print and Embroidery; Robbie “Rudolph” Poole of Poole’s Towing and Recovery; DXG Media and Entwistle Group; The boys at Beardmore Motors; Big Will of Holt Apparel; Ruth Burgess and Congleton Council, and Jamie Leah Turnock. —  Yours faithfully,
