A single bus every hour would suffice
Dear Sir, — I understand we now have a half-hourly bus service from Congleton to Macclesfield. There are 28 buses per day during weekdays; presumably they are heavily subsidized by the rate-payers.
What is the point of running nearly empty buses? We have two almost empty buses here in town doing the rounds — Bromley Farm, Mossley and Buglawton. Two buses run the above routes on a half hourly basis.
Surely a single bus doing a one-hour service would suffice?
Do we need 20 buses per day to Mossley from the town centre?
I wonder how long the half-hourly service to Macclesfield will last? — Yours faithfully,
