Bell ringing at St Peter’s to resume
Dear Sir, — A year ago I wrote to tell your readers that ringing at St Peter’s Church in Congleton was being suspended while the renovated plaster ceiling dried and cured.
I’m very happy to announce that the church’s architect has now given permission for us to resume ringing the bells.
We will restart by ringing on Tuesday, 2nd July. Tuesday has been our practice night for decades; we ring between 7.30pm and 9.15pm.
