Biddulph in Bloom was a piece of cake
Dear Sir, — Once again I would like to use your pages to thank all those wonderful gardeners in Biddulph who opened their gardens to raise funds for Biddulph In Bloom.
As mayor, I was truly proud to witness the skill, care, dedication and plantsmanship evident in all the gardens that I was able to visit. My only regret was that I was not able to visit all the gardens during the day and apologise to those whose gardens I missed.
I am sure that all who visited the gardens, were not only impressed, but came away with a multitude of ideas. The day was as interesting and enjoyable as visiting one of the national garden shows, such was the variety of gardens on display.
Not only did I meet many interesting and knowledgeable people, but I also enjoyed the fruits of some top-class baking.
My thanks to all who took part. — Yours faithfully,
(COUN) JIM DAVIES
Mayor of Biddulph.
