Commended for making street safe
Dear Sir, — We would like to offer a different view and perspective regarding the demolition of Kinsey Street Primitive Methodist Chapel.
We are aware that the demolition of this building has caused some deeply felt reactions.
Congleton Osteopathic Practice has been in the town centre since 1987 and we have been in our current location in Kinsey Street, directly opposite the chapel, for 22 years, so we feel well placed to comment.
We have been aware of the gradual decline of the church building over several years.
We have a good view of the roof from the upper floor of our building, and saw roof slates were loose, and in heavy rain and high winds, these were falling below.
