D-Day to decide future of country
Dear Sir, — So another momentous week has passed again with much food for thought.
One of the most important aspects of last week was the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Surprisingly it was said that many younger people were not aware of just what that particular day meant and the fact that on 6th June 1944 the allied forces of Britain, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, launched a combined naval, air and land assault on Nazi occupied France.
