Employing more than 50 people locally, paying business rates and supporting other local businesses with trade, this economic benefit will now be broadly lost from Cheshire East.
Directors made the decision to leave Congleton reluctantly, as a last resort, because land and buildings were simply unavailable locally to facilitate its expansion.
The announcement from Cheshire East that it is considering investment in commercial property is refreshing, and encouraging.
