Food festival a great success

Dear Sir, — On Sunday, 9th June Congleton’s Food and Drink Festival was a resounding success, with at least 23,000 visitors to the town centre, experiencing a vast array of culinary delights.
The town was bustling with people enjoying free entertainment and a carnival atmosphere.
The event organisers Congleton Community Projects, a not-for-profit organisation, would like to thank the amazing bunch of volunteers who made the event a success with all their hard work both in the run up to, and at, the festival.
Thanks also to the Rotary Club of Congleton for its volunteer support, the town centre staff and Streetscape.
Thanks to William Dean Trust, the Inclosure Trust and the town trust for their continued support with funding, helping to ensure the festival is free to everyone.
Mostly thanks to the community of Congleton for turning out once again in their thousands to support the day. — Yours faithfully,
