Friends of park holding meeting
Dear Sir, — Our park is absolutely wonderful: full of birds, and we now have a small deer, which could be a Muntjac. We think it may be coming from the adjoining Coppice Wood but would drivers be careful in the area of Thames Drive and Moorland Road, and dog owners keep control of their dogs please in case it returns.
Friends of Biddulph Valley Park are holding a meeting on Tuesday, 18th June at 6pm in Biddulph Leisure Centre café and we would welcome new members.
We only have a short meeting but have made great strides in trying to remove the Himalayan balsam from round the brook, litter picking and getting a grant to tarmac the path. — Yours faithfully,
