Geoffrey Cox can’t grasp basic rules
Dear Sir, — All eleven Supreme Court judges hearing the case about the prime minister Boris Johnson’s decision to suspend Parliament for five weeks ruled that the prime minister had acted unlawfully.
Following this judgement, the Government’s top lawyer, attorney general Geoffrey Cox, stated in Parliament that he disagreed with that judgement.
So, what does Geoffrey Cox’s past record tell us about his justification to claim that he has a better grasp of the law than all 11 Supreme Court justices?
