Labour’s plan will end uncertainty
Dear Sir, — Business hates uncertainty. For centuries, the UK has been seen as a safe place to do business, where the rule of law is respected and the economy is stable.
The coalition of chaos between the Conservatives and the DUP has changed that. As the uncertainty over Brexit continues, businesses are deciding to invest elsewhere.
The referendum in 2016 gave a mandate to negotiate with the EU. The Conservatives have abjectly failed the country in those negotiations, and we need a resolution to the Brexit uncertainty.
Should we leave with no deal? That would lead to a decade of business uncertainty while we tried to negotiate trade deals.
