Legacy of all issues sit in Tory Cabinet
Dear Sir, — In September 2017, I wrote to the Chronicle saying that “I would like to write about the way Cheshire East Council waived its procurement rules to award contracts to the former Conservative leader’s personal physiotherapist, but I can’t because I don’t want to prejudice the ongoing investigation by the organised crime unit of the regional police.”
I still can’t talk about that matter (CoreFit) because it has been referred to the Crown Prosecution Service.
I wrote “I would like to write about bullying at Cheshire East Council, but the Conservatives assure us that it’s not happening.”
