Dear Sir, — One of the things I’ve learnt over almost ten years of having the privilege of being your MP — for which I thank you — is that little, if anything, is achieved for the community by an individual alone; making a difference is about us all working together. I also recognise that everyone has something to contribute.
That means in order to serve residents best I need to constantly listen to, and understand, your priorities.
So as this new year — and new Parliamentary term — begins, I am conducting a Local Listening Project.
May I invite constituents to meet me at one of my regular surgeries, to tell me what your priorities are for this area, as we enter a new decade?
I look forward to hearing from you, and in the meantime wish you all a peaceful and blessed new year. — Yours faithfully,

FIONA BRUCE MP
