Manipulation was crass and clumsy
Dear Sir, — Not for the first time Coun Sam Corcoran chooses to gets his facts muddled.
In his recent letter to you, which has him transcend from orchestra conductor to shepherd, he recalls the recent Cabinet meeting which he chaired. It was here that I had the audacity to challenge the seating arrangements made at his request. In his recollections he states: “the first Conservative councillor, a former Cabinet member walked past the table allocated” and “another said I’m not a member of the public”. This is incorrect.
I was that member and can assure you I was not the first Conservative to speak at the meeting and both the action and the comment referred to were mine alone.
