Mayoralty concert was so uplifting

Dear Sir, — I wish to publicly record my thanks and appreciation to our town mayor, Coun Suzie Akers Smith, in organising the absolutely superb orchestral concert at Congleton Town Hall with the locally based King Edward Musical Society orchestra.
The town hall was filled with familiar and uplifting music by famous composers, including Rossini, Tchaikovsky and Dvorak, and was part of celebrating 700 years of the mayoralty in Congleton.
I hope that it won’t be the last time we see KEMS in Congleton. — Yours faithfully,
STEPHEN HODGKINSON MBE
Mayor’s Chaplain.
