No mention of democracy
Dear Sir, — This week’s Chronicle has had page 34 taken over by Bettie Riddell and Mr Grumpy. Both of them are anti-Brexit.
I assume they voted against leaving in 2016 on the losing side.
In her long-winded letter to Mrs May, which filled three and a half columns, I did not see any mention of democracy.
With regard to Mr Grumpy, he believes all people who voted to leave are gullible, crazy racists.
Let me tell you Mr Grumpy: when I left council school in 1946 aged 14 I had gained a certificate for 25 yards breaststroke at Congleton open air baths in the wintertime. That’s what I call crazy. — Yours faithfully,
