No place in world for Anti-Semitism

Dear Sir, — I was fortunate to be able to attend the Holocaust Memorial Day to remember when six million Jews were murdered during the years from 1941 to 1945.
This event was organised by Cheshire East Council in Sandbach Town Hall and was thought-provoking, and its message should be seen and listened to by every person of all ages.
The 27th January marked the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. I would like to also congratulate Cheshire East Council on the professional way the two hour presentation was put on.
It was also nice to see the leader and deputy leader of the council both taking part in the meeting event; to have two councillors from different parties sharing the presentation was good to see.
Anti-Semitic talk has no place in this world today, so let us hope the newly-elected Members of Parliament will make certain it never raises its ugly head again. — Yours faithfully,
