Our infrastructure mess is EU’s fault
Dear Sir, — In the three years that the Brexit debate has raged in the media, I have not heard or read of anyone questioning what would be in store if we remained in the EU.
There is endless scaremongering about leaving, but no speculation as to what future plans the EU would inflict if we remained enmeshed in the current web of agreements, which alone should be a deterrent for further involvement.
When British Steel was in trouble the revelation that our own Government could not bail it out, due to EU rules, was treated as very low key.
