Pity junction 17 was ever allowed
Dear Sir, — On reading the article submitted by Mrs J Archer, of Sandbach, in last week’s edition of the Chronicle — relating to locals not being able to afford new homes being built in and around Sandbach — I totally agree with all the comments made.
I was born and bred in Sandbach (born 1936) — educated, worked and later married in Sandbach, and still live here.
My late husband John was also Sandbach born and bred, educated and worked here.
Unfortunately when our three sons married and couldn’t afford to live in the town in the 1980s they bought houses elsewhere — cheaper — and built by the same builders that were here in Sandbach.
