Pothole scourge is seven years old
Dear Sir, — Reference my letter in last week’s Chronicle dated 28th February, regarding the junction of Booth Street in Congleton having no top surface on and a pothole: when I walked to town mid-morning on the 28th the pothole had already been filled in, with a couple of spades full of tarmac.
We continue into our seventh year walking across an unsurfaced road.
Perhaps this poor council will wake up when somebody trips over and breaks a leg. — Yours faithfully,
