RBS pulled plug on Thomas Cook
Dear Sir, — For years I have probably bored readers and annoyed Fiona Bruce MP by pointing out the inequity of allowing RBS to continue to trade.
In 2009, to its lasting shame, a Labour government bailed out the banks. Having been thrown out of office — “Sorry, there’s no money left.” — in 2010 the coalition government compounded the error by allowing RBS to continue to trade despite the fact it was robbing small-business owners.
