Sacrificed on the altar of failure
Dear Sir, — West Heath residents are being sacrificed on the altar of failure to make the link road into a bypass.
On Saturday, I attended the damage limitation exercise Cheshire East highways hosted at the Quinta School.
It was clear from the letter sent to West Heath residents, entitled “Congleton Link Road Mitigation Measures for Padgbury Lane”, that the missing link in the bypass scheme to connect the A34 from Astbury to the new roundabout at Wall hill (where the link road terminates) was, and clearly is, Padgbury Lane.
