Sharing the roads requires tolerance
Dear Sir, — May I reply to the letter you published in last week’s Chronicle, entitled “Many Things Give Cyclists Bad Rep”.
Mr Phil Malkin wrote to last week’s Chronicle in response to an article that I co-authored, in which I made a plea for motorists and cyclists to share the roads with care and consideration.
Both cyclists and motorists are just road users, and have more or less equal rights and responsibilities when going about their business on the roads.
