Some quick fixes for our bus routes

Dear Sir, — I read your article on public transport in Congleton (Chronicle, 19th September) with interest and concern.
While it is good that councillors intend to review public transport in the town, this will inevitably take time, probably measured in years, while consultations are made, transport plans are developed and funding obtained.
The issues are with us now and soon to be exacerbated as the new housing developments come to fruition.
I would like to propose some quick fixes that could improve the bus service and demonstrate that the council means to take action and not just talk about improving local public transport.
