The speaker is just doing his duty
Dear Sir, — The House of Commons speaker, John Bercow, has brought an avalanche of denunciation down on his head by refusing to allow the presentation of Brexit deals almost identical to those twice rejected.
However, if he allowed any more of them he might find himself allowing an infinite number: 108 times Mrs May has stated in the House of Commons that we will be leaving the EU on 29th March.
She has an unusual talent for repeatedly banging her head against the walls of reality and probability. Could we face another 106 debates on the deal?
The speaker is just doing his duty and trying to put an end to the present logjam. — Yours faithfully,
