This has become a matter of survival
Dear Sir, — It is a regular occurrence that we hear about boats being intercepted in the Channel and that the occupants are not sent back to France, but are brought into the UK for “interview”.
Only last week we were informed that more than 50 migrants were caught trying to cross Channel in a day and that they were mainly from Iran or Afghanistan.
On Sunday, 1st September 2019, 66 migrants were caught crossing the Channel in a flotilla of boats. How are they eluding the “supposed” French assistance in preventing them from crossing the Channel only to be intercepted by the Border Agency?
