This is a big win for rest of EU
Dear Sir, — I’ve often wondered how Britain ended up where we are in relationship to Europe and the EU.
Catching up on economic data I came across the Office for National Statistics site, which said that the country’s trade in goods deficit with EU countries widened by £0.2bn in 2018 to a record £94.9b ($122bn).
Apparently, Britain (or London), excels in services but I’ve never been too sure that there was much of a single market in services, so this is a big win for the rest of the EU.
