Time to resurface our roads properly
Dear Sir, — Your regular Biddulph correspondent Mr R Norbury rightly highlights the cost of repeatedly filling in potholes at the same locations.
A perfect example is the junction of South View with Wharf road.
Potholes keep appearing by this roundabout and rather than filling them in and the same potholes appearing again it would surely make more sense if a wider section of roadway was properly resurfaced, thus eliminating the potholes once and for all.
The same applies to Woodhouse Lane, where large sections need patching up rather than a mere temporary fix.
