Universal credit helpline training   

Dear Sir, — Following the letters concerning universal credit, it is good to see in the news that 3m people are now to be delayed being transferred to the new scheme, to allow for a re-think of the benefit.
Good luck with that one, as there appears to be a lot to think about.
May I suggest thinking to begin with, that all staff from the job centres around the country and the universal credit helpline staff are fully trained, and all work from the same song sheet? It also may be an idea to treat people with respect and understand that each individual is different, and may be in a position in life through no fault of their own.
