Volcanoes’ impact on climate change

Dear Sir, — As a matter of interest, and following on from my letter in last week’s Chronicle, just for one moment put to one side the climate change matters that it is alleged are the UK responsibility and consider the amount of gases which the volcano known as Mt Stromboli on an island in the Mediterranean Sea is presently gushing into the atmosphere, and consider the effect of continuous avoidable forest fires in Brazil.
Am I wrong in thinking that perhaps the climate change protesters are causing plenty of mayhem on the streets of cities in the UK but don’t seem to be doing much about the real large-scale contributors to climate change elsewhere in the world?
