Alsager pre-school gets ‘good’ Ofsted rating

A pre-school whose parents are “thrilled” with the level of care that children receive has been rated as good.
An Ofsted inspection found that Highfields Hoppers was good for quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management.
The report said the preschool’s leaders were “passionate” about their role and had a clear vision for their team. They adopted a curriculum that was rich in language. Staff actively promoted children’s communication skills and were good role models. Children had opportunities to borrow books to take home from the sharing library. This helped promote early reading skills, and children gained a love of reading from a very young age.
