Art therapy charity planning to expand
A charity, which provides arts activities for those suffering from mental illness and long-term ill health, wants to expand.
Sandbach Art Room, on High Street, has recruited a Wheelock artist to its growing team and plans to move to a larger, more user-friendly site.
Sue Guildford will run teen art sessions on Saturday afternoons between 1-3pm.
Her current project is Junk Art Creations and is known locally for providing workshops for schools and community groups. She will be introducing fresh ideas and challenges for the children to experience, such as using eggshells and filling plaster to create unusual background surfaces and incorporating recycled materials into art projects.
