Cheshire East firefighters help save damaged dam
Cheshire East firefighters have been providing strategic standby as emergency crews pumping water from a damaged dam above Whaley Bridge are close to reaching their target.
Alsager crew are currently providing strategic standby alongside Poynton fire station at Chapel-en-le-Frith fire station.
They are supporting Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service should the situation at the Toddbrook reservoir in Whaley Bridge deteriorate.
