Civic manager has departed to high praise
The woman praised for “bringing Alsager Civic alive” in her role as its manager has quit her job.
Andrea Taylor had been in charge at the Civic for more than four years.
Her departure was officially announced during a town council meeting last Monday where Coun Shirley Jones said: “We are all very disappointed that Andrea has chosen to leave us but she has got a job elsewhere.
“She has given us four and a half years, in my opinion, of dedicated outstanding service to this building, business and council.
“By the work she has done, she has been reducing the deficit so she has been helping the council taxpayers of the borough.
