Election winners all want to work together for town

The Conservatives lost their stranglehold on Cheshire East Council after Thurs-
day’s local elections, and Labour emerged as the opposition to the Liberal Democrats on the new-look Alsager Town Council.
In Alsager, the Liberal Democrats swept the board, taking all three Cheshire East ward seats now occupied by Rod Fletcher, Phil Williams and June Buckley.
