First aid training organised after campaigner’s death
The owner of an artisan market has called on the community to attend an emergency first aid training session because “lives depend on it”.
It follows the death of Alsager campaigner Leslie Rosenthal, (72), after he collapsed during a meeting of Alsager Town Council while speaking against BAE’s plans for warehousing at Radway Green.
Paramedics were called to Alsager Institute, on Green Drive, after Mr Rosenthal complained of feeling unwell.
Jo Dale, of Holly Lane, along with others at the meeting administered first aid for more than 15 minutes before paramedics arrived.
