In Bloom team ponders thought of hosepipe ban
Alsager’s In Bloom volunteers are hoping the heatwave won’t dry up their hopes of an award ahead of an upcoming visit by judges.
The annual In Bloom competition sees volunteer gardeners all over the country competing for awards given to the best florally decorated towns.
However, the recent prolonged warm weather and lack of rain has presented challenges for a number of participating towns, including Alsager, whose volunteers are hoping it won’t affect their chances in the competition ahead the judges’ visit next Friday.
