Protected trees a reason bungalow plan is refused

Plans for a bungalow in Alsager have been refused because council officers believed the proposal would fail to provide satisfactory living conditions due to insufficient light getting into the property, and that the design was poor.
Caroline Bailey applied to build a three-bedroom one and a half storey dormer bungalow on land to the north of Beechwood Drive, where previous plans for development have been refused, the most having been turned down in February.
