Public realm plan to slow traffic down
Plans to prioritise pedestrians and cyclists over drivers in Alsager are the key objectives of a public realm project being drawn up by the town’s neighbourhood plan steering group.
The aim would be to have a traffic management system that slows motorists driving through the town to improve road safety for all users.
A request for funding of £15,000 towards the project has been made by the steering group to Alsager Town Council.
