Slippy leaves make road ‘impassable’ for walkers
A resident has claimed that a junction in Alsager has become difficult to walk across because of a flooded road, “slippy” leaves and corroded white lines.
Speaking at last Tuesday’s Alsager Town Council meeting of Planning, Environment and Community Committee at Alsager Institute, Sylvia Dyke was concerned about the blocked gully at the top of Station Road.
She explained that near the cenotaph, there is only one pavement and Mrs Dyke claimed it was sometimes “impassable” due to the leaves being slippy.
