‘Surely council can find extra cash for crossing’

A busy stretch of road in Alsager needs a pedestrian crossing before there is an accident, councillors were told.
Speaking at last Tuesday’s meeting of Alsager Town Council’s  Planning, Environment and Comm-
unity Committee, Coun Simon Bishop said he had spoken to a resident about traffic safety on Crewe Road, in particularly at school pick up and drop off times.
