Teen diagnosed with sepsis is ‘fighting for life’
An Alsager teenager who was rushed into hospital on Christmas morning and diagnosed with severe pneumonia, sepsis and swine flu is “fighting for his life”.
Robert Brennan, (14), who attends Alsager High School, is currently in a coma on the critical care unit at Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool, and his family fears he could have suffered brain damage.
A GoFundMe page called the Brennan Family, which was created on Friday, has raised over £3,000 to pay for their food and fuel costs while Robert is in hospital.
