93 bus safe until March 2019 after funding review
Bus passengers have been given an early Christmas present after it was announced that the 93 bus will continue to be funded by Biddulph Town Council.
Following the discussion of a confidential item at a council meeting last month, councillors agreed to fund the service until at least March next year, with the possibility of continuing the funding until 2020.
The service, which was initially scrapped by Staffordshire County Council in March in a bid to save £700,000, links Biddulph Moor and Gillow Heath with Biddulph, and runs four times a day on weekdays.
